Synopsis
With its irresistible mix of catchy hits, flashy fashions and amazing dance moves, SHOUT!
The Mod Musical transports audiences to the music, style and freedom of the 1960s. Created by Phillip George and David Lowenstein, this musical features new versions of classics such as ‘To Sir with Love,’ ‘Downtown,’ ‘Son of a Preacher Man’ and ‘Goldfinger.’
The story follows five girls coming of age in those vibrant days that made England shine. Through time travel from 1960 to 1970, SHOUT! chronicles women's liberation, highlighting artists such as Dusty Springfield and Petula Clark. The songs are interwoven with amusing snippets from the era, from 1960s advertisements to letters from an advice columnist. This charming musical resonates with timeless appeal, ideal for showcasing female talent in any theatre.
